Tässä vielä muutama kuva mukavalta viikolta, jonka vietimme Taitokorttelissa. / A couple more pictures from the fun week we spent in Taitokortteli.

Nämä kultaiset kehykset ovat peräisin kirpputorilta. Upean korutelineen taustakangas on Hañhi Designin tuotantoa. / These gorgeous golden frames are from a second hand store. They function well as a stand for necklaces. On the back you can see a print from Hañhi Design.

John & Yoko ikuistettuna puusta valmistettuun kaulakoruun. / John &Yoko immortalized in a wooden necklace.

New for you guys!

Tässä muutamia kesän aikana käsissäni syntyneitä rouheita koruja, jotka sopivat niin naisille kuin miehillekin. / Here are a few rough pieces of jewellery I´ve created this summer. They can be worn by women as well as by men.

Nämä kaksi Rage against what?! -kaulakorua huokuvat maskuliinisuutta, rockia ja rajuutta. / These Rage against what?! -necklaces are fierce. They almost exude rock and masculinity.

Näissä vauhdikkaissa Bilar -kaulakoruissa yhdistyy kirpparilta löytämäni hauskat avaimenperät, romumetalli ja erilaiset muovihelmet. / I´ve combined key chains, junk metal and various colourful beads in these super fun, fast & furious Bilar -necklaces.

I know you can´t really hear the singing in this video but just look at these guys play!!

Tunnelmia Taitokorttelista osa 1

Vietimme juuri viikon Joensuun Taitokorttelissa omia tuotteitamme esitellen ja myyden. Meillä oli hauskaa suloisessa pienessä punaisessa myyntikojussamme Taitokorttelin sisäpihalla. Joensuun sydämessä meitä ympäröi kulttuuri, käsityö ja design. Tässä tunnelmia sieltä!

We just spent a week at Taitokortteli here in Joensuu. It´s a beautiful place for all kinds of handcrafters to sell and present their creations. We had a cute little red booth and a lot of fun! We were surrounded by culture, handcrafts and design in the heart of Joensuu. Here are a few pics from there!

This wooden brooch says "Here" and is a piece from a little collection called Goose gone wild. Piia designed and produced the collection from second hand material for a local design label Hañhi design.

Kaulakoru tilaustyönä

Tässä ensimmäinen tilaustyönä tekemäni kaulakoru! Asiakaalla oli pieni vihreä kivi, josta hän halusi itselleen kaulakorun. Liimasin kiven riipuspohjaan ja yhdistelin koruun erilaisia pieniä helmiä. Tuloksena asiakasta kovasti ilahduttanut siro koru!

Here´s my very first custom made necklace. A client brought me a little green stone and she wanted me to make a necklace from it. I glued it to a background (pendant) and combined it with a few beads. I managed to create a graceful necklace that made the client very happy.
